Analysis of Existing Digipak and Print Adverts

A Digipak is a patented style of DVD and CD packaging that is made up of either four, six or eight panels.

I used a tom waits digipak to Analyse the layout of a successful digipak. This one is made up of 8 panes with three CD's and a 24 page booklet 

Music videos are only a section of a promotional package. The Promo Package is consisted of a music video, a digipak and a magazine advertisement (poster).  

Penultimate day of filming. (Time Management post)

This is a series of shots depicting our two hours of work today. We worked on a lot of Lip syncing shots and scenery shots; as the river was rather high so the wier was extra beautiful. We filmed thease shots with extra time left in the lesson so we could go back to the lesson room and look through the footage we had. After one more day of filming we will be able to take a look at editing the clips into the start of a music video.

This shot is a test of a setting we are using for a Performance. We are thinking of having her stood at the end of the small boat pier. Then some close up's of Emily singing. 

Time management post

This week was half term and so we used some of our own time to try out some shot for our music video. We tried out the settings or the forest (Mortimer) and the bridge (Ludlow). We also tried out the camera to see if it works with the software we have at college. Although we did meet with the equipment we still need to work on our organisation with props and having the set lists. 

We did several shots, such as:

• Holding hand walking away from the camera. 
• Looking out in to the distance of Hills. 
• Hugging and laughing on a bench.
• Hugging in the wood
• Arguing and pushing on a bridge (this shot took the longest to work with as it was a working bridge and so cars were a common interruption)

If these shots can be used in the software then we will be able to start work on our already delayed music video work.
